Where does AIT fly?

How far in advance should I arrive at the airport?
Please check this directly with your airline.
We recommend arriving 45 minutes early for domestic flights and 60 minutes early for international flights; however, please verify this information with the airline you’ve selected for your trip.

What is the maximum weight my baggage can be to avoid fees?
Each airline has its own fees and restrictions, so you should contact them to clarify your question.
For any issues with checked baggage (damage, deterioration, delay, or loss), you must immediately go to the airline counter to report the incident and complete the necessary procedures to document what happened and have the airline process your claim. Note: Remember to file your claim before leaving the airport, as the airline sets specific deadlines for submitting claims.
Small suitcases and bags weighing no more than 10 kg that do not need to be checked.

To carry items such as bottled beverages, shampoo, hair gel or spray, lotions, toothpaste, sunscreen, liquid cosmetics, creams, aerosols, or any substance or product of similar consistency in your carry-on luggage inside the cabin, these items must be contained in containers of up to 100 ml (3.4 oz), must be packed in a clear plastic bag with a capacity of up to one-quarter (1 liter) or measuring 8 by 7.5 inches. In addition to the items already mentioned, the items you may carry in your carry-on baggage are: infant formula or breast milk, baby juices—only if infants are traveling; liquids, gels, and aerosols purchased within the secure area; prescription medications, as well as insulin and other over-the-counter medications that do not exceed 100 ml (3.4 oz.) per container, including saline solutions and eye care products; liquids, gels, or aerosols for people with diabetes who can verify their medical condition, in quantities not exceeding 100 ml. (3.4 oz.); solid cosmetics and personal hygiene items such as lipstick, solid deodorant, and other similar solids. Can my dog travel in the cabin with me?
If your pet and its carrier together weigh no more than 10 kg, you may bring it on board, subject to the airline’s prior approval. Inside the airport, the pet must remain inside its carrier.

Is the TIA still closed?
The airport has never closed; it continues to operate normally.
No, smoking is not permitted on any flight.
No, but the Caminante terminal at Paseo Tollocan and Clouthier does offer that route. For more information, call 800-509-7545.
Yes, to and from Toluca International Airport and to the Observatorio metro station, Santa Fe, and AICM via the Tollocan connection, operated by Caminante. For more information, call 722-273-3210. At the authorized taxi stands located in front of the domestic arrivals area, between Gates 2 and 3.
There is no time limit, but we recommend that you keep your ticket in a safe place.
No, you may only stop your car to pick up or drop off passengers; if you wish to park your vehicle, you can leave it in the AIT parking lot.
No, you must arrange to have your test done no more than 24 hours before your trip; however, this may depend on the airline you’re flying with.
Where should I go?

If for any reason you left an item behind in the terminal building and/or a personal item was confiscated at the entrance to the Final Departure Lounge, you can recover your belongings by visiting the Passenger Service Office.

  • A copy of your official ID and boarding pass.
  • A description of the lost item; for retained items, please present the receipt number that should have been provided by security personnel.
  • A power of attorney if you are not the owner of the lost or retained item
  • Monday through Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (except on holidays)

In addition to the above requirements, you must submit a copy of the invoice or purchase receipt to prove ownership.
You must contact the airline you flew with directly, as it has its own lost and found department.
